Maintenance Supervisor -Caboolture

About the Role

This is a full time position.

As Maintenance Supervisor you will:

  • Coordinate the day to day operations of the maintenance department including works scheduling;

  • Provide advice to management on projects and building and maintenance works;

  • Lead and organise a team of maintenance and ground staff.

  • Coordinate St Paul's Preventative Maintenance Program.

  • Manage and work effectively within the maintenance budget;

  • Liaise with external professionals including engineers, contractors and trades staff as required;

  • Monitor and order supplies of chemicals and equipment as required.

  • Actively participating in and complying with all WHS requirements at all times including ensuring all external contractors have the necessary understanding of WHS compliance requirements.


Critical to your success in this role will be the proven ability to demonstrate

  • effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills

  • a significant understanding of the customer service focus of these services

  • experience within an aged care setting


In addition will

  • maintain a positive Federal police check and Australian driver’s licence

  • be available to participate in on call arrangements on a rotating roster


It will be highly regarded if you possess

  • qualifications in a building/maintenance services related discipline

  • a working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations


You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical prior to any offer of employment.
